the best cycle computers in 2018 - Bryton rider series comparison
Bryton's cycle computers sells for quite less than Garmin and Wahoo units, but they are worth appreciating value, I think. So I want to introduce its cycling gps units on my blog.
Bryton has sold five GPS bike computers on bryton's homepage : Rider One, Rider 10, Rider 530, Rider 330, and Rider 310.

Rider One Review
Review Positive : Good GPS but Buttons on back not a good design - Rating 4 / 5
It is good size and has a nice display but I don't like the buttons on the back. The GPS is great and required no setup. Communication with phone app through Bluetooth works fine.
Review Negative : Umm... not bad, but not perfect - Rating 3 / 5
umm.... its neat.,,.. wish I had bought the one with the little wheel sensor since its not as accurate with mileage and such. not the end of the world.... only negative is that it has fallen off my bike before and thankfully someone behind me caught up and gave it back.

Bryton Rider 10
Review Positive : Perhaps more basic than other GPS offerings but for the price, you can't beat it. - Rating 5 / 5
Simple, does exactly what it is advertised to do. Well worth the extra 20 bucks over a nice large screen Cateye. Seems well conceived and works without a speed sensor b/c of GPS. But will support one if you want it. No issues with the device. App is basic. I probably won't use it often. might not be good enough for serious cyclists but as an upgrade over a basic cycle computer, this is a no-brainer.
Review Negative : I stopped using and returned to my bontrager trip 300 that works just fine. - 2 / 5
It does not pair with my bontrager ant+ sensor. First, I had to remove my tire pump from the tube to improve the signal and it worked. But then, it stopped pairing. I contacted Bryton 2 weeks ago and had no response. I stopped using and returned to my bontrager trip 300 that works just fine.

Bryton Rider 530
Review Positive : Not Disappointing For Me - Rating 5 / 5
I read the other reviews and seriously debated before buying this. Turns out, I was NOT disappointed. I have been on a few rides without any quirks so far.
Pros -
1) Large readout with adjustable page auto scrolling (none or programmable seconds based on preference).
2) GPS auto link is fast and accurate, which gives to accurate speed and distance.
3) Cadence is visible and remind me to work on increasing mine (I'm still a newbie).
4) I received an email from the company prior to receiving my device. It included a link to their youtube channel for setup tutorial. I already knew how to use it before I got it (and I have Prime).
5) Mount can be used on the stem or the handlebars, depending on what space you have and your preference.
6) Imperial measurement setting. Previous reviewer said this wasn't possible.
7) Price ... absolutely.
Cons -
1) Only syncs with Strava (I'm ok with that, but others might find it a downfall).
2) Only detects ANT+ sensors (I had to buy a new cadence sensor - but the generic one I bought had no trouble linking up).
3) Predetermined routes have to be made through the Bryton App then uploaded to the device (again, not a problem for me, I don't pre-map).
Cycling is a spendy sport, so I have to shop and compare to get the gadgets I want without breaking the bank. This is a basic device that does what I want it to do.
Review Negative : This equipment is trash - Rating 1 / 5
This cyclo computer is trash. I have had since January 2017. In the last 2 months I have been struggling with data download; avg speeds highly affected by trees and shade; difficulties to pair blutooth, etc. And for worse I keep e-mailing tech support and they do not respond. Do not buy, go Garmin, Cateye or Wahoo.

Professional Review on Rider 530
Highs : amazing cost/benefit ratio, power meter support, impressive batter life
Lows : Navigation, menu structure, no tuchscreen

Bryton Rider 330
Review Positive : Riding Data Analysis - Rating 5 / 5
I recently upgrade my computer from Sigma 906 computer. This Bryton offers more data for my average cycling. I customized my DATA page and now i get all my data on the same page. This computer automatically stops n starts with my intervention. I have only been on two ride with the new computer but look forward to riding more and adding the the speed/cadence combo sensor and the heart rate monitor. This computer even displays the outside temperature and heading info.. I cant say enough good about this computer. Must buy and download the app as well.
Review Negative : but I wanted to love this device and I think you should know some ... - Rating 2 / 5
I do not write reviews often, but I wanted to love this device and I think you should know some details before buying. I own it for 2.5 month (I bought it here for full price). And I own full XC bike (60% pavement and rest woods, trails, singletrails,...)
Device itself is great. Holder looks simple, but works really good - no problem with it even on really rough terrain. So far battery life is incredible I was biking every day for 50 minutes and it was still working even after 14 days.
Sensors - I know that GPS sensor for speed does not work fully in the woods/trails (due to tight switchbacks and trees - GPS signal). Thus I decided to buy ANT speed sensor (since it device supports ANT you can buy any brand - I bought SIGMA speed sensor and I had zero problem with it).
Backlight does not have dimming setting. It is little bit sad, because it is too bright during night, but you can live with it :-)
Device allows you to personalize display screens really nicely. So far everything is ok, BUT here is software part which is important too.
Software - is my biggest issue with this device. I tested Android application which really looks and works like some student project (I'm software engineer, so I might be biased little bit). You can go to Android Player Store and read reviews by yourself.
They tell you that you can sync data to strava - true, but you can do this only immediately after you sync data to you mabile app. It seems like nothing if you like to share everything, but it is almost everyday issue if you like to share ojly some of your tracks (like me).
Android app is only way how to create and upload map into your device. There is map on Bryton pages, but it does not work with thus device. My biggest problem is that it does not allow you to make multipoints (do you really want to go just from point A to B? I bet that you would like to craft your own trail maps. BTW you cannot start "Follow Track" function without stopping/canceling actual recording. Thus you cannot use several maps and record your entire day on bycicle.
Pros: device itself
Cons: software
I would bought it again only with massive improvements in software - it is just simple overpriced tachometer without good software.
My biggest hope is that Bryton will invest into they software more. It will be even awesome to provide some documentation so some community driven (open source) can be created. I see really good potential in this device, but so far just promises.

Difference between 330 and 310 ?
Rider 330 can upload your riding data via wifi, but 310 only through bluetooth. Moreover navigation function is possible in rider 330.
